What is the Prenatal Paternity Test in the UK?
A Prenatal Paternity Test is a non-invasive DNA test that determines the biological father of a baby before birth — with zero risk to the mother or baby. Using advanced technology, we analyse tiny fragments of the baby’s DNA (cell-free fetal DNA) that naturally circulate in the mother’s bloodstream during pregnancy. By comparing this DNA to the alleged father's, we can accurately confirm or exclude paternity.
Important: If you are based outside the UK, a nurse, phlebotomist, doctor, or GP must collect the mother’s blood sample.
